DANIEL RUIZ - DESIGNER
Hello everyone! I am Daniel Ruiz and I have been part of the design team in "The mandalorian, Sands of Arvala". I have always loved to design characters and enemies' stats and behaviours and this was my main task to develop in this project which I enjoyed a lot. I felt very comfortable working with all my partners.
This project has helped me a lot to learn specially to communicate between members. Also has helped me to improve my design skills.
PROJECT CONTRIBUTION
Enemies design
Designing and prototyping the enemies (Sandstorm trooper, Blurrg, Turret, Dark trooper, Sarlacc) behaviour, stats and attacks to transmit the general idea to the artists and programmers.
Sidekick design
Designing and prototyping the ability of Grogu.
Environments
Creating some blockouts from the assets that artists made and also I have implemented them in the engine adding the colliders and enemies.
Enemies iterations
Balancing stats in order to make a better experience to the player.
Audio design document
This was my smallest contribution in the project, was just making a list for the audio requirements.
Playtesting
Playtesting the game to find some bugs and errors which can make the player having such a bad game experience.
